One of my favorite spots with a great view in Oakland Outdoor seating is lakeside, and there's heaters for added comfort. Service was great, food was delicious and parking was fairly easy for a Saturday evening.
My son took me here during a visit last week. He said it was his favorite place, and I can see why. I had the Braied short rib dinner and a Peach Bellini. Excellent! It looks like a quaint little place from the outside, but you're in for a surprise once you walk in. Definitely on the list for my next visit.
Awesome views outside on the waterfront of Lake Merritt, downtown Oakland while you dine. I was looking for someplace nice to take the family and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff was attentive. The toughest decision was whether to eat outside on the dock or indoor overlooking the lake. Both the food and drink had excellent flavor and presentation.
Went here tonight for the first time and it was very tasty! I had the Monday special if Fried Chicken... It came with Mac and cheese... Some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Desserts... My husband got the flourless cake and it wasn't great. I got the key like pie and it was good. Service was ok but not exceptional. You could tell they were understaffed... And it wasn't very busy.
Took an impromptu walk and decided to try Lake Chalet. Arrived just as Happy Hour started on Monday and had a delightful time.
Beautiful views and delicious food. If you’re with a loved one or a group of hyped up friends, this is a great place to enjoy the weather while having a yummy food and drinks. Wine list is fire!
Hosted a Taco Tuesday event here. Four different kinds of tacos for $3.50 each. They brew their own beer and the mixed drinks were strong. Good food, great views, and very accommodating staff. Will return soon! ???? …
I really enjoyed talking my family here, who were visiting from MD. It was my first visit as well. There was a 30 minute wait at 7pm, but we were kept posted. You can make a reservation if you're eating indoors. We had planned to eat outdoors so had not made a reservation, but it was too chilly outside for me. Food was amazing and the service outstanding. Parking was easy. Highly recommend.
My friends and I go here weekly for brunch and it's amazing. The music , food , and drinks are so good ! I recommend getting the calamari and mango Margarita! You won't be disappointed !! Make sure to sit on the back patio . Such a hidden gem.
